3 Styles of Mira Threads Fishnets At World Salsa Solo 2025 🏆

World Salsa Solo is Australia and New Zealand's largest Latin dance competition for Salsa & Bachata. 

Dancers can come from all over the world to compete in this competition and enjoy the co-event, Brisbane Latin Dance Festival. 

The weekend comprises of competitions on four days for Youth, Amateurs, Semi Professional, Professional and Master dancers. Then there are also workshops held by international guests who've been brought over to perform, teach and judge alongside some of Australia's top instructors. 

Last year Mira Threads had only just launched a few weeks prior and with one line of fishnet tights only; our professional fishnet tights range in dark tan (the most popular), light tan and black. 

This year though in 2025, we had on offer our newest ranges Bettie, professional fishnet tights with a back seam, full of diamantés and Bella, professional fishnet tights with diamantés all over the legs, as well as our classic professional range of fishnet tights. 

The best part, we peeped all 3 on the dance floor. With teams such as The Mojo Movement choosing our professional fishnet tights in dark tan for their whole team

through to individual competitors in most genres. 

Julie who competed in many divisions decided to compete in our Bella diamanté all over dark tan fishnet tights. In this image she's with her instructor Pedro Gonzalez in the Salsa Pro Am choreography division but you saw her all weekend in these beauties 🤩

Then the amazing Louisa who's category was merged with other genres but she was in the Samba Semi Pro category originally, that became the mixed latin category. She was absolutely fire on the competition dance floor and wearing Mira Threads professional fishnet tights.  

I'm still coaching and had the opportunity to compete with two of my students in freestyle categories and opted for Bettie back seam diamanté professional fishnet tights in the dark tan

I probably should have used the weekend to get more content, and it's a lesson learnt for next time, but to have so many dancers choosing Mira Threads fishnet tights, a female owned small business in Australia, truely meant the world to me as the owner. 

I can't wait to see Mira Threads on even more legs in 2026 💙
